Hello everyone, I'm Andrew. I am a web developer/designer originally from Toronto, Canada. I have been working in the web development industry for the past 7 years mostly in the realm of online advertising. My first job was at a large online advertising network where I started off doing creative for email and landing pages. Before then I had little programming experience and was asked if I could do some coding. I decided to give it a shot and realized that I enjoyed coding just as much as I did design. I ended up building two large properties for that company before moving on to my next job.

The next job I took found me in Asia. I relocated to Bangkok, Thailand to work with a small online advertising group. There I focused on developing tracking systems and internal administration tools with a few small properties on the side. While working for this company we expanded out to Manila in the Philippines. I traveled frequently between Bangkok and Manila while working with the company to train and work with both teams. After 4 years I decided to move on again. Now I am doing freelance work from my home in Bangkok while traveling around Asia.

The majority of my work is done with the CakePHP framework & MySQL for the backend and Prototype.js for the front end. I am also fluent with Ruby on Rails and JQuery and like to learn new frameworks regularly. If a framework is not the right tool for the job I can write vanilla PHP, Ruby or Javascript to complete the task at hand.
